Differential Pressure Level Measurement

Differential Pressure (DP) Level Measurement utilizes pressure readings and specific gravity to generate level outputs. As a widely adopted measurement method, DP Level finds application across a broad range of scenarios. Available solutions include standard transmitter connections as well as integrated transmitters equipped with direct or remote-mounted seals, which can be configured into tuned, balanced, and electronic systems. Furthermore, additional wireless options are also offered. 



About DP Level Technology


Direct mount and remote mount connections are designed to cater to a diverse range of measurement requirements. Direct mount connections facilitate straightforward installation by allowing transmitters to be mounted directly onto the vessel, thereby eliminating the need for extra provisions for transmitter mounting. Remote mount connections comprise a seal connected to a transmitter via a capillary tube, and they are utilized in tuned or balanced systems, high-temperature installations, and applications where transmitters are mounted remotely.

Electronic Remote Sensor (ERS™) Systems deliver differential pressure (DP) level measurements by computing differential pressure through two pressure sensors linked by an electrical cable. This solution removes the requirement for long capillaries and heat tracing, reducing response time by as much as 90%. ERS Systems provide accurate measurements across a variety of applications and conditions, including tall towers, cold climates, and vacuum environments. They can be installed and serviced independently, helping to lower installation and maintenance costs.
